Ilminster Sports Club Ltd are organising a bonfire and firework event on Britten’s Field on Sunday 4th November 2018. In order to make the final preparations for the event, Britten’s Field will be closed to the public from 3.00pm and stewards will be stopping people from going onto the field and asking those already there to leave. The Mayor, Cllr Julie Fowler explained “The bonfire and fireworks is becoming a major event in the Ilminster calendar and we need to consider all the health and safety aspects involved in organising a large scale event.
