I was born and raised in Ilminster.  After a 27-year career in the Royal Navy, I now hope to bring my enthusiasm and experience to bear for the benefit of my home town.  My aim is to ensure that Ilminster remains a beautiful and vibrant market town of which all residents, young and old, can be rightly proud.

Although born in Dorset, I have been resident in Ilminster since 2003.  Our greatest challenge as councillors is the ongoing withdrawal of the Rate Support Grant which is bound to put our services under pressure.  I fully intend to make every effort to defend them.
