Ilminster Town Council is looking for a dynamic and innovative individual to lead the Council into the future, maintaining the council recreational grounds. Working alongside the Countryside Manager, the successful candidate will need to ensure that the current recreational facilities are maintained to a high standard, satisfying all safety
regulations. They will be required to help maintain the grounds and other areas that the council has a
responsibility for. This is a great opportunity for an individual to develop a reasonably new role within the council to provide high level facilities to the community as well as to plan and implement new ones as well. It combines being hands-on with a developing management role. For the right person, a trainee Recreation Manager role would be
considered with full training provided.
