Easter Themed Activities
Ilminster Town Council working with Ilminster Youth Council have two community events planned for Easter. Children of all ages are welcome to come along and join in the Easter fun!
On Thursday 17th April 2014 between 09:00hrs – 12:00hrs there will be an Easter Bunny Trail around the town centre including the market. Numbered posters will be displayed in various locations and the aim is to locate as many bunny posters as possible. Entry Forms will be available from the Market House on the day and must be completed and returned by 12:30hrs to be entered into a prize draw. All participants will receive a small Easter goody when they return their completed entry form! The overall winners will be announced at 13:00hrs in the Market House that day.
On Sunday 20th April 2014 Ilminster Youth Council are holding an Easter Egg Hunt at the Recreation Ground, Ilminster between 10:00hrs – 13:00hrs. Entry forms can be picked up and return at the play area on the Recreation Ground. Entrants will then need to locate the Easter Egg images that will be hidden across the recreation ground, collect the letters from the Eggs and unscramble the word to claim their prize. It is just £1 per entrant and everyone will receive a prize.
