A meeting of the PLANNING, HIGHWAYS & TRANSPORT COMMITTEE will take place on Tuesday 7 March 2017. The meeting will be held in the Council Chamber, Council Offices, North Street, Ilminster starting at 19:30hrs
The public are welcome to attend this meeting. Members of the public are invited to ask questions or raise issues relevant to the work of the Council. The overall time available for this session is restricted to 15 minutes unless the Chair decides otherwise. Individual speakers are restricted to 3 minutes and are asked not to repeat points that have been made previously. It is helpful if potential contributors can make themselves known to the Town Clerk before the meeting so that the session can be programmed effectively. Public participation is not part of the formal meeting of the Council however a note will be made of matters raised and recorded at the start of the minutes of the meeting.

1. Apologies for absence
To receive apologies for absence from Councillors unable to attend the meeting.
2. Declarations of Interest
To receive any declarations from Councillors and Officers of interests in respect of matters to be considered at this meeting, together with an appropriate statement regarding the nature of the interest.
3. Minutes
A) To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 7 February 2017 as a correct record.

4. Police Report
This agenda item provides an opportunity for the Police to report on any matters relevant to policing in Ilminster.
5. Planning Applications And Listed Building Consents
The Committee is asked to consider the following applications and agree their comments and recommendations to be forwarded to South Somerset District Council:
a) 16/04060/FUL – Factory Site Dowlish Ford Mills, Greenway, Dowlish Ford, Ilminster
Conversion, alterations and extension to existing mill and lodge buildings and the demolition of an existing industrial building and the erection of a replacement building to form a total of 8 No. dwellings with associated parking.
This is a revised layout including a new parking layout and number of dwellings reduced from 10 to 8. Parking adjacent to pond removed. Additional parking provided in lieu of plot D. Submission of flood risk assessment.
b) 17/00513/FUL – Daido Industrial Bearings Europe, Winterhay Lane, Ilminster
Installation of an extraction flue to Unit B and in association with Planning Approval 16/04612/FUL.
c) 17/00804/LBC – 54 East Street, Ilminster, TA19 0AW
Internal alterations. Replace windows, repoint walls and replace guttering and downpipes. Insertion of new window to outbuilding and replace existing steel windows with timber.
d) 16/04948/LBC – The Dyers Building, 21 Silver Street, Ilminster, TA11 0DH
Repair and replace windows to side and rear elevations. Amended floor plan showing correct location of windows to be replaced and repaired and additional information provided on window design detail.
